Morning tea time

The Centre aims to provide good nutrition for all children in our care. We encourage healthy eating habits in young children. The centre has an ongoing morning tea timetable where staff encourage all children to stop and refuel and have a drink. It is a wonderful social experience giving children time to talk to each other and carers. Morning tea time allows children to practice conversation, social skills and meet new friends. In fairness to all children please avoid chips, chocolates and sweets.

What if my child is ill?

We ask that children only attend when they are well. Parents should contact the Child Care Centre as soon as practical if their child develops an infectious disease or contagious condition e.g. conjunctivits, head lice, chicken pox etc If unsure contact the centre regardless. Should a child become ill while attending the service, the parents will be contacted as soon as practical. If parents/guardians are not able to be contacted within reasonable time, arrangements for the child’s collection will be made using emergency contacts as per their enrolment form.
